Little Roots: Nature Program

Service Description

Little Roots is a gentle, outdoor gathering created for little ones and their caregivers to slow down, connect, and begin nurturing a relationship with the natural world from the very beginning. Surrounded by nature, we’ll explore the land through touch, sound, sight and movement — allowing little ones to experience the textures, colours, sounds and changing rhythms of the outdoors alongside the safety and connection of their caregiver. Each gathering weaves together simple eco-somatic grounding, gentle somatic movement, slow-paced nature exploration and thoughtfully created sensory invitations using natural elements such as leaves, grasses, pinecones, water, flowers and other seasonal treasures. We’ll finish gathered together with sensory exploration, tea for the grown-ups and space to connect with other caregivers. Please bring: Blanket to sit on Weather appropriate clothing Please note: Little Roots takes place on natural, uneven terrain. A baby carrier or all-terrain stroller/wagon is recommended for little ones who are not yet confidently walking. For newborns through to confidently walking, accompanied by a caregiver. Registration includes all accompanying little ones within the program age range. Little Roots is an outdoor program and classes are weather dependent. Any weather-related cancellations will be communicated to registered participants. Pre-booking required, spaces limited. All bookings are final, non-refundable. Refund will only be issued if Little Roots is cancelled due to weather.
